Closing the loop!

Ski area link Zürs-Stuben from winter 2016/17

New incredible dimension of variety.
In winter season of 2016/17 a new chapter of Arlberg's ski history will be written: The new Flexenbahn between Zürs and Stuben/Rauz will be opened, thus providing a link for the entire Arlberg skiing region - making it possible to easily reach all Arlberg skiing locations on skis. This makes the Arlberg skiing region the largest continuous skiing area in Austria, making skiing and skiing holidays even more versatile and comfortable!

One of the new links is the Trittkopfbahn I from Zürs to the new intermediate station. From here, skiers can either proceed to the new mountain station ot Trittkopfbahn II or use the new Flexenbahn to carry on to Stuben and Alpe Rauz. Here the Albonabahn II, which is also new, can be used to carry on to Stuben. In addition, skiers can easily reach the St. Christioph and St. Anton skiing areas from Alpe Rauz.

Pioneering spirit in winter sports.
The Arlberg has been the home of numerous skiing pioneers since the 19th century. Together, they have made it into the "cradle of alpine skiing", popularising the resorts and the skiing region far beyond national boundaries. Owning to their courage, their progressive thinking and their innovative strength, the Arlberg is still making history today with the building of the new Flexenbahn, opened from winter season of 2016/17.

Maximum skiing experiences with the "Run of Fame".
According to the new ski resort link Zürs with Stuben/Rauz skiers will be able to reach all skiing locations at the Arlberg easily and comfortably on skis. At the same time a new and brilliant ski run is born: The "Run of Fame" takes in the entire size of the new completely linked skiing region from Warth in the north via Lech Zürs with the new Flexenbahn to St. Anton/Rendl in the south. With a maximum of 65 downhill skiing kilometres and an incredible altitude difference of 18,000 metres, the new "Run of Fame" ski run adds a new dimension to the skiing experience - a distance for which an average skier needs almost a day.
